Decided the problem with my notes is that there’s just too many of them. So I deleted 1,800 files.

And by “delete” I mean exported to a backup, tagged the current state in repo, pushed, removed files from repo & committed, pushed, and copied the backup to Dropbox.

@masukomi And I’d say a fair number of the scenarios where CGI doesn’t work is because we’ve over-complicated the problem.

Don’t get me wrong, there are problems appropriate to each of the common approaches. But we got a whole lot of folks out there sanding out the square holes to fit their favorite round peg.

Mostly by attracting Roam users, who are notoriously hyperbolic about their preferred tools.

Supposed to be a quick “hey here’s what I’m listening to.” Naturally I spent half an hour being annoyed with trivial display issues.

Stay tuned while I decide on a better way to display album details from the local data. Maybe something with beets.
