@b0rk macOS with Macports or Homebrew is all around a delightful experience for me as a CLI nerd. I get all the pretty tools when I need them, and all the utilities I actually use are right there.

On macOS I miss the total flexibility of Linux or the broad assumed compatibility of Windows, and every once in a while Apple gets an idea that breaks everything for months (transition to x86, transition to Apple Silicon). But overall it’s good.

@blogdiva I’ve been unemployed most of the last year, haven’t been able to find a provider who accepts our insurance so I can start on ADHD meds again, and then there’s the stories that aren’t mine to tell.

Nice thing about an outliner #PKM like #Logseq is you easily can develop your own conventions for what a node represents, like how indented under a heading is a paragraph in a section, and indented under a paragraph is a list item.

OTOH if you ever want to share those notes you get to decide how many of those conventions you should translate.

So I know about waterfall development and I know about iterative development but I’ve got six scripts in four folders in three languages all borrowing from each other to implement the same idea from different angles depending on mood and I was wondering if convergent development was a thing.
