#TIL Marimo supports a columnar layout.

Helps with mentally chunking things, but this is gonna be my weirdest-looking blog post by the time I’m done. Probably just smush the notebook file export into something Hugo can handle, while also making the notebook file itself downloadable.

Also got a version that uses Marimo’s WASM app logic to work with a user-uploaded Logseq JSON export. That’s more whiz-bang, but also less useful for me personally. I’ll decide later. May post both.

Got multiple simultaneous invoices from my mental health provider that matched the pattern of “new IT team trying to get caught up; old team didn’t document processes; new team didn’t know about one of the switches they were supposed to hit.” Messaged provider, did not panic.

Received phone call from provider today full of apologies, and “we recently switched IT agencies and the new folks are great but they’re still figuring out how the old team did stuff.”

Playing with Game Development libraries for the first time in a while. Nothing purposeful, just having fun making bouncy shiny. Lost interest when I got hired for $work[-2] in late 2023.

Looking at frivolous code as opposed to stuff directly tied to work or hyperfocus areas? That’s a good sign for burnout recovery.

The lack of frivolous coding during the last year and a half suggests the burnout has been going longer than I realized.
