@jhelwig understandable! I’ve been puttering with my ox-hugo microblog pretty much daily, which means a tiny bit of Emacs muscle memory is actually sticking around.
With that tiny bit, Magit is suddenly real easy to use.

Both of her offspring are visiting people in other places. They’re both generally delightful people, but it’s been a couple days and I can say with confidence that all the dishes are in the kitchen.
Roughly four hours of sleep in roughly 5-20 minute increments. That’s not fun.

@welshpixie lots of vivid dreams. I think my brain shoved me into REM as fast as it could each time. I feel crappy and my body is exhausted from all that movement, but I feel better rested than you’d expect from speed-running through 25 naps.
Still trying to get sleep. Managed an hour so far. Stuffed up, coughing, chills — could be the plague or maybe lungs clearing out from smoky casinos + busted furnace (currently 56F inside).
Anyways let’s keep trying a little longer.

@maddiefuzz the spouse enjoys the more elaborate machine games. This part of the vacation has been mostly for her.
Tried an experiment tonight, shadowing her and playing a few rounds on the same machine. Wouldn’t call it science, but all told walking out with 3x what I walked in with.
might’ve been more fun if we were 6yo2) the corn on the cob was ahistorical but worse it was gummy3) all in all, the biggie: some of those horses looked stressed to our (unprofessional) eyes

And just a free-floating annoyance: why do so many presenters, MCs, etc want me to convince them I’m happy to be there?
Puttering on stuff in 15 minute increments is challenging.
Floating in my head now: how to do #indieweb Webmentions and h-cards on multiple self-owned sites. A distinct h-card for each site, or point back to one as p-author for entries?
