@rabcyr The Alien movies & Firefly, off the top of my head.
Mostly I was thinking about how HR Giger’s work showed there was more than the primary colors of a Star Trek / Star Wars, but so much sci fi after felt compelled towards muted palettes. Esp compared to exceptions like Fifth Element or Guardians.
