The best kind of work retreat — for me at least — is when it’s after midnight but I’m not even a little tired because we’ve been chatting and now I have a dozen project ideas.
Pretty sure I’ll collapse soon though.

Arrived at the airport. Would’ve been sooner but someone tailgated me & I was morally obligated to drive 3 mph under the speed limit the whole way.
A driverless(?) floor cleaning cart. That’s a little unnerving on first coffee.
@CharredStencilSee, my mistake seems to have been Dreamhost VPS. Only a little more control than shared hosting.
Doing some shopping already for payday.
Commuting is bullshit. No wonder everyone is miserable.
@lordbowlich I like this notion. Plus: since I just got off five years remote work, I can feel the productivity lost from the sharpest hours of my morning spent solving traffic & now decompressing.
