Twenty minutes (not in a row) trying to figure out why my play/pause key didn’t work. Checked xev, dug into support forums, took notes.
I forgot I’d changed the shortcut for a keyboard that didn’t have play/pause.
Right.

I eyeball new laptops six months after a purchase. My ~15 year old trackball gets funky and I take that sucker apart to clean it.
