So Mrs Geek wanted another dog. We talked about the kind of dog we wanted. Bigger than Jumpy Dog, maybe a lab?
Then Jumpy Dog’s cousin here goes and picks me from across the shelter show.
My “I hate dogs” line gets less convincing every day.
Bouncy Dog (his mix is chihuahua-minpin so he has short legs and kinda bounces when he walks) has demonstrated himself to be a commendable lap dog. Planted himself at Mrs Geek’s feet, and just settled in for the long haul when she transplanted him to her lap.
Jumpy Dog is jealous but starting to adjust.
on the card it just says “Chihuahua-MIX” so we are taking them at their word about the minpin thing. He could also be part sausage.

@gizmomathboy @IamMrsGeek well the deeper truth I’ve learned is that I like dogs. What I don’t like are a lot of dog owners out there and how they raise their dogs, which goes back to disliking people on principle and I’m quite comfortable with that.

Don’t really know what Bouncy Dog’s musical tastes are yet, so I’ll just put on a lo-fi playlist while he and the cats watch each other from across the room.

Barry checking out Bouncy Dog. He’s less nervous about it than Jack, which is amusing since Jack’s usually the fearless cat.
