Messing about with ollama and it’s actually kind of enjoyable. Helps that there’s no server latency while running local.

Took me about 30 seconds to get in a disagreement about reality with llama2. This is less promising.

Trying to use these various local chatbot models like an agent and so far that’s not happening. It might be useful as a piece of a bigger system, and I’ll probably keep puttering with that in mind.

But — if you already have Taskwarrior and know how to use it, how useful would a chatbot task manager really be?

It’s not much #knitting but it’s more than I’ve done for a while. Working up a scarf with a simple lace pattern kinda getting lost in the chunk. It’ll be fun to fidget with though.

@CyberneticForests Been thinking about all the spectrum of vulnerable to non-functioning IoT devices we have around, and not particularly looking forward to the AI-driven versions of those.
