#HelpfulHint for aspiring hacker insurrectionists and everyone else too at the rate things are going: no tech is more secure than keeping your mouth shut

OTOH you aren’t gonna be safe because you’re quiet. Communication is a calculated risk. Shit gets taken out of context, too. Instead of “don’t say anything incriminating” which is a good start, don’t say anything you wouldn’t be willing to do time over.

Me: dislikes “people” as such. Will answer questions as tersely possible to end a conversation. Rapidly dissociates in large crowds.

Also me: answers the door when solicitors knock, will chat at the doorstep about where I came from and where they came from for five or ten minutes. Sincerely wishes them better luck at the next place.

From the movie Clerks: “You hate people!” “But I love gatherings. Isn’t it ironic?”

I’ve been told I’m great at low-commitment conversation.

Kinda want to make a mahjong solitaire or shisen game. So of course I want to design my own tiles. So of course I’m looking up the history and context of mahjong and its tiles so I can find out why those exact pretty pictures and get things right (or close) if I do my own versions.

Watching a true crime show.

Grieving family on the TV: “I don’t know what she was thinking when he stabbed her.”

(simultaneously)

me: “ow. ow. OW. OW.”

Mrs Geek: “ow. ow. quit it.”

Clearly we were meant to be together

Was hoping for a little more insight from the evening’s puttering, but had to wrestle a bit with reactive state in Marimo.

Still, according to the Polars DataFrame view of my exported Logseq graph, my current graph has 1,840 pages and 38,434 blocks.
