@wordshaper I only know the name “Solo Leveling” because it showed up in summaries for a few Minecraft modpacks.
The modpacks didn’t look particularly interesting, so I assumed the same about whatever “Solo Leveling” was.
After digging nto Defold and LÖVE2D, with a brief sidequest into Godot, back to the original Kaplay implementation and the all-important end of game summary screen.

Maybe it’s just me or my particular neurodivergence, but watching a narrated video? I hate the model-generated voices. There’s an unnaturally smoothed-out uncanny valley thing going on that actually gets me mad. “Three hours on a comcast customer support phone tree” kind of mad.

Sprinting Sisyphus: an infinite runner game where you’re pushing a boulder uphill while dodging obstacles. The obstacles come at you ever faster, but instead of damage, each hit knocks your character’s speed asymptotically towards zero.

94% on their silly code test earned me a “we’ve determined that there are candidates who may be better aligned with our needs at this time” and BTW not so much as a phone screen worth of human contact.

Managed to lock up Logseq with a large paste. Frustrating.
Sharing my org-roam config while doing terrible things to Logseq with Go. While also nearly forgetting breakfast and an errand.
Laser sharp focus. Imma go eat now.
Incidentally, Charm’s Log package for Go provides, out of the box, exactly what I want from a logger while doing exploratory coding:

@chris I’ve never been at an org that offered fuck off money, so I don’t know how typical that is. But 1/3 the compensation for a very large chunk of your 40+ workers who felt safer staying with you than taking their chances, at no notice, is a very specific kind of insult that one should track.
