In the “well they only rejected me once and the job description diff is like six words so it’s practically an entirely different job, practically an invitation to try again” arc of my job search.
Poking at the Logseq graph is fun with JavaScript + Observable Framework too.
This has been less fiddly than Marimo, so probably easier to put on the site.

@cestith looks pretty darn good. And you’ve been there a while, so I know it’s potentially that most cherished of opportunities: a stable job.
The only concerns for me are:
I haven’t used C++ in anger since 2004, and that was light maintenance on legacy pre-STL code; but I’ve spent enough time in Go recently that it’s not as bold a leap as it would have been a year ago, and I’ll likely start brushing up for the heck of it today
@nixfreak Definitely extending my search outside of tech proper, along with a few hail mary shots for the local Walmarts. Nothing so far, but I’ll find my solution and so will you!

How did LinkedIn job searches get worse?
Been learning some game dev libraries for fun and maybe profit. Idle curiosity, look them up on LI job search. Expected an empty list.
Meanwhile continuing to enjoy myself with Marimo. Looking at the grid layout of its app mode now.

@SwedishSoap curiosity and just the right amount of anxiety. Not too much and not too little on the anxiety. “Interesting” is an acceptable substitute for curiosity, but not as effective.
And if curiosity or at least interest isn’t there, anxiety quickly goes from helper to hindrance for my own flavor of #ADHD.
Got multiple simultaneous invoices from my mental health provider that matched the pattern of “new IT team trying to get caught up; old team didn’t document processes; new team didn’t know about one of the switches they were supposed to hit.” Messaged provider, did not panic.
Received phone call from provider today full of apologies, and “we recently switched IT agencies and the new folks are great but they’re still figuring out how the old team did stuff.”
