So I read this and have thoughts, none of them charitable.
Though I do appreciate the author’s use of “we can’t name the company he worked for. BTW here’s a super clear picture of their lobby, what they did, and a few of the headlines they’re known for.”

Thanks for looking out for me, Microsoft Edge. Appreciate you protecting me from uh Microsoft.
Doing a training thing for work. Okay, I’m really liking the newer #Logseq sidebar. Just enough to add some context, not so much that it steals my attention from the note I’m working on.
Foil Face ID by picking your nose at the wrong moment challenge 2021
@tithonium guess I gotta pick my nose more
pytest tags are a bit of a life saver.
So I’m almost 50, right? Still can’t sit still long enough to become an expert at anything but bouncing around.
Maybe that’s why folks like us are so good at flow. We’ve seen 10,000 “getting started” videos, read 1,000 “X in 24 hours” books, and onboarded at a hundred jobs.
Didn’t want to spend half an hour fussing with a markdown table to summarize data, so I spent an hour writing a script to do it for me.
That’ll actually be a really good return on time invested if I remember I wrote it.
BTW the hour was for the data that needed to go in a table. I was smart and used an existing library โ python-tabulate โ to make the table itself.
Interactive environments like Jupyter and GToolkit are getting to be core to the workflow.
Starting to thinking about publishing output somewhere relevant (this is work, so: Sharepoint or an in-app docs folder) as a dev journal for future me and those who follow.
Reminder to myself and others that Django Unicorn is fun.
Looked outside during heavy downpour after a real loud thunder roll and oh hey double rainbow.
From the #Sable 3.3.6 patch notes:
“Fixes to NPC AI. Players should no longer encounter flying beetles and goats while traveling.”
Not gonna lie, I’m a little disappointed. I’ll miss my antigrav beetles and goats.
I wrote a note
I wrote this note in Hugo with markdown-it-py

ok.
(no i know it’s the tpm thing but i spent a whole 5 seconds looking in BIOS and couldn’t find it so whatever rebooting is easier than making windows happy)
Four dang chat apps open and they all annoy me. I miss IRC. It annoyed me too, but it was just the one application.
I’m not gonna reshare the Minneapolis cop truck video because if you want to find it you can. I’m just gonna listen to some music.

Five minutes trying to figure out why I can barely hear the computer despite turning volume all the way up oh hang on the headphones are plugged in.
Wanted to braindump a quick note in the terminal and remembered that I wrote myself a #RakuLang script to do exactly that a few months ago. Kinda nice when ADHD circles back and finds its own footprints.
