So turns out even a fairly low-key workflow library can help with articulating and enforcing the state-machine-ish aspects of your average nontrivial web app.
Don’t know why Django forms continue to baffle me, but they do. Took all day to get a ModelChoiceField test from how my brain was convinced it should work to how it should actually work.

Made a couple Gherkin feature files for this new corner of the project. Started working on the lower level stuff so I can connect them to code and things are moving so fast and OMG IS THIS WHAT IT’S LIKE TO HAVE PROJECT REQUIREMENTS WHAT A WORLD

Tired but also pleased with myself. Those Gherkin files are real handy for describing features and building browser tests, but I couldn’t think of how to share with coworkers that don’t live in text files.
So I tried Pickles and now they have a navigable Word version of the descriptions.
