I’ve been checking in on V for a few months, and this last round was seeing if I could ignore the claims and evaluate the language on its own. Though I like the ideas, the vigor with which I’ve pursued my Python / Ruby / Smalltalk code since is likely all the answer I need.
Just to be clear: the dog toys also belong to the cats.

Pi4 is fast enough that I didn’t realize I was doing a hefty compile via that ssh session until after the fact.

To my own shock and surprise I completed all my promised tasks for the day, and it only took one day.
As much as I love novelty, it amuses me how hard I lean into the familiar sometimes.
Halfway through a great Udemy Org mode course and I switch my notes to Vimwiki because less friction or something.

Gah. That thing where you almost have the thing figure out but not quite and it’s just so tantalizingly close and all of a sudden it’s 2am and you’re no closer. Dang it.
