Probably says something unfortunate about my brain that Vim’s key feature for me is the ability to have 6-12 open views per tab while working on one typo fix.
Tonight’s Dumb Mistake
The form test fails. Why? The form works. I tried it. The path works. I tried it. The path tests work. I tried them.
Forgot to include form data in the form test.
TFW making that one little improvement has a ripple effect exposing bugs and untested code that you spend the entire rest of the day cleaning up.
@djsundog That’s the stuff for sure. And of course now I can’t trust any of the adjacent features.
Better commit this with a content warning for QA.
Quick quick take a picture before I eat the last one. She makes very good food.
Three and a half hours with Spirit of the North. Guess I like it.
We woke up with coffee and filling out rental applications, and me saving data to improve flow the next time we have to provide similar details.
I can’t help it. It’s in my nature.
The urgent TODO list is too long for me to catch #pycascades live but perhaps later & definitely happy to have bought a ticket. Helps the thing happen in the first place, and helps any archiving for time-shifted folks such as myself.
Disappointed that I misread a promotional blurb yet again, and there is no such game as “Game of Thrones: Tale of Cows”

Trying out “Spirit of the North.” Found the bark button.
There is absolutely no way I can play this game without headphones or Loud Dog will go ballistic.
I wouldn’t mind wearing so many hats, but I would like a little time to make sure they fit first.
I did that thing where last week they asked for logic from a domain unfamiliar to me and this week I’m explaining it to them.
Not a super-brag. They’re only asking ‘cause their boss wants it.
But still a little brag.
Today’s musical mood.

Generating fake data for proof-of-concept demos and wishing my tools were this good for campaign setup during my peak RPG days.
Dangit every time I putter with Crystal, Julia, Go, or just any language that enforces my type declarations, I get a real “why bother” feeling once back to Python’s type hinting.
My favorite part of the latest #killsixbilliondemons is half the commenters trying to explain the mother / maiden / chrone archetype, followed closely by the other half absolutely not getting it.

Still figuring out how to casually group tabs in Vivaldi. I like the concept very much.
Smashing a Flask app into a Django app and keeping both running may not have been an aesthetically pleasing choice but I’ve got enough duct tape on there you wouldn’t know.
Me during demo time: “DON’T CLICK THERE. DID I SAY YOU COULD CLICK THERE? DID YOU NOT READ THE SCRIPT?!”
