Very tired of folks wanting to abandon #linux because they don’t like #ubuntu unity. There are other DEs in Ubuntu and other distros.

Sync MBP partitions from reFIT. Shut down from reFIT. Reboot. Installed #fedora linux works. Surprised but happy. Took hours to find that.

Finally getting a good look at #KDE 4.6, looking forward to getting home to install 4.7 ^_^

I love being able to inspect an element, but I wish I could also see what events were attached to it.

Installing #Ubuntu 11.10 Alpha 3 and admitting to myself that my favorite hobby is installing Linux.

Okay. Basic Ubuntu installation worked fine, but the MBP-specific fiddling until after dinner.

Okay, so “after dinner” has become after dinner, cleanup, laundry, and groceries. Almost ready for geekery.
