There are some bits where it’s creepy how much JavaScript acts like Perl. arguments vs. @_ for example.

Ah the random treasure table of the local minimart. Found: Epsom salt, shower cap. Not found: ice tea.

I see a lot of object literals in JavaScript code. It’s a variant of “Oh just put it all in a hash. That’s easy.”

Firmly in #firstworldproblems but digital static is annoying. I miss when it was snow & fuzz rather than jaggies & sound hiccups.

Sat down to read another chapter of “Kingdom of the Gods” by @nkjemisin and 2 hours later I’m done with the book and I liked it.
