My on-the-clock coding for the last week has been all Python. This pleases me.

News mentions a shooting in another city and I’m thinking “I’ve been on that street! Cool! Wait. Sorry. Not cool.”

“@chrishough: I only give on @Gittip to people who write code!” Right there explains FOSS quality of UX, QA, support, outreach, etc ^_^

And I didn’t mean to make it sound like it was all on @chrishough. Just reminded me of the broad tendency to ignore non-code contributions.

I’m told I won’t find motivation at the bottom of a coffee cup, but I don’t know where else I’m going to find it.

I finally remembered the VPN password on the first try. I assume it is now time to rotate the password assignments.

Well, [expletive]. I think I need some not-coding not-compter time. I hear it was nice out today.

I was sad so I put cheese on a plate and now I’m not sad anymore.

Trying to figure out what’s using up so much system resource? VM? No. Other VM? No. iTunes and iPhoto. Of course.

Almost bitter and cynical enough about tech for a career shift to ops. Still have tiny slivers of hope, so not quite there.
