My weekend with Perl 6. Feels like - you know when you see old sci-fi and notice how tacky their vision of the future was? Feels like that.

Lots of shiny buttons and syntax in Perl 6, but things break when I try to use it for actual work. Again, reminded of props in old sci-fi.

Pondering why Perl 6 weekend was more frustrating than other times.

I used modules. No modules before. Happily used P6 as glue language.

Took me a couple tries to parse that Nespresso product name correctly.

Gah. Urge to light things on fire getting to dangerous levels. Time to stash the 900 words written on Rakudo. Maybe revisit later. Maybe.

Buying throat lozenges because it is difficult to seduce Mrs while I have a hacking cough.

Ricola breath still presents a challenge though.
