The #lfnw crowd thinning out due to lunch. Fighting the urge to break out the knitting.

This is a good moment to be outside.

I got DNS etc working for the Linux laptop on my home network, with the arguably unexpected side effect that it doesn’t work anywhere else.

It amuses me that I hate chit chat about code details when I’m not on the clock.

Just about raffle time at #lfnw.

They: “You want a T shirt?”

Me: “No thanks, I’m trying to only wear shirts that I like um sorry i mean bye”

#lfnw day one was great, but now it is time for a social stimulus reset.

My favorite #lfnw day 1 moment was learning the history of an attendee’s driftwood + found objects walking stick.

It was more of a staff, really. Leather strap made from an old belt. Jingly bits. It was awesome.

I honestly did not know that this was - or could be - a thing.

I managed 50 steps in a 20 minute nap. Is that good?
