Tired of slow roast artisanal Jekyll. Rebuilding site with @spf13’s Hugo. 15.6s vs 279ms. Fast build means no penalty for experimentation.

Oh and that’s the draft build time for Jekyll. I haven’t timed the production build, where it cleans up all the Liquid whitespace. 2m+

Chatted w/friend who wished they were more self-sufficient. I reminded them that there’s no such thing. They felt better.
