Well hell. I’m awake, and not the sort of zombie half-awake state I’m accustomed to for 3am. May as well play with Docker for work stuff.

As primarily a Perl developer, I find this very exciting.

How big of an explosion are we talking about here?

I am so tired of the large number of Web pages that are actually apps, especially when I think the terminal has focus and I start typing.

Oh of course the thing in the container interacts differently with the outside world when run on a different host machine.

No interest in solving that mystery now, but good to know.

I am learning* so much about Docker

writing down random invocations that seem to do things in hope that they will do something again in the future

I want to feel something besides intense dread for this, but I’ve worked in tech too long.

It worked twice! I ran the command twice and it did the same thing twice! What bizarre sorcery of technology is this?
