Installed Windows Terminal Preview

Windows partition is Fast Ring now, but that took the full night. All I had time for this morning was installing the fancy – and open source! – terminal preview from the Windows Store.
I’ll finish breaking my computer after work. BTW, still figuring out build numbers but I don’t think Windows Insider builds are required to install the terminal preview. May 2019 update should be fine.

I will not rewrite my entire set of site tools in Perl.
Not right now, at least.
Need a good night’s sleep first.

Windows Update went from 60% to 57%. Almost but not quite as thrilling as when macOS updates go from “5 minutes left” to “20 minutes left”

🤔 better ways to teach code if the learner knows Excel?
Maybe start w/dictionaries+arrays as worksheets & then do data transformations, rather than working piecemeal with scalar values?
Probably good stuff out there already. Probably using R.
