Did some silly personal task stuff with PHP for the heck of it. Nice how I could just do the thing without evaluating three frameworks & ten libraries.

Continuing adventures with Python Pandas reaffirming one of those things I’ve always known which is Wow I Am Bad At Math.

@vortex_egg The tools have been helpful. Numbers are sort of like raw materials for me: pretty, but I don’t know what to do with them.
Data science tools show me what other people like to do with numbers, which gives me an idea how they’re expected to fit together.

@vortex_egg I do recognize this is a grown-ass adult trying to figure out the junior high question of “WHEN AM I EVER GOING TO USE THIS” but such is life.

@vortex_egg I got into programming because I’m bad at math. I understand structure, and can be taught process. My inability to keep the digits lined up borders on dyscalculia.
Very frustrating to my first year algebra teachers. All three of them.
