With all the prep / retro / status meetings involved, a two week sprint kinda feels like it has somewhere under a week of time for doing the work. Partly an ADHD “TODAY IS MEETING DAY” thing.
Not saying that’s good or bad, but I should take it into account for estimates.

The cat comes to say hi. I pet the cat.
The cat starts wandering on the desk. I worry about the cat knocking things over. I remove the cat.
I’m picking up what the flailing cat knocked over and looking for the neosporin.

Kinda sweet. Cat came back into the office all cautious like and Jumpy Dog got huffy. Reassured her that it’s okay, cats are just very sharp.

Distracted by the rigid taxonomy of ticket trackers with epics / stories / tasks / etc compared to my real-world workflow of infinitely nested subtasks, tagged for “clarity.”
Not sure that my Turtle Stack is better mind you.

So anyways my arm is now slathered in neosporin and wrapped in cellophane to keep from smearing. I’d share photos but even though it’s surgace scratches there’s enough surface involved I’d want to CW it.

Coworker asking about note-taking apps and I’m offering suggestions along with many caveats about own Logseq workflow (in development, needs tweaking with plugins, etc) and they go “ok I’ll use Logseq” and this is not brer rabbit but okay

Like, I’m not offering warnings about the tools I use because I think they’re too cool for you if I’m saying an app is rough then it’s rough
