@masukomi somewhat. It’s a big shell — or an interesting language with a great REPL depending on how you want to look at it — so lots of the little-tool functionality is built-in.
For input without strict structure, it’s sort of like Perl where first you munge the input into something useful, then you use it.
Really shines for JSON APIs. Wrote a couple utility functions dealing with aws-cli for work.
An edge case for sure, and still in heavy development. Try it out periodically, but don’t expect it to replace your current workflow any time soon.
I think of it more as a replacement for PowerShell on certain cranky operating systems than replacing an existing familiar UNIX toolkit. My own $SHELL is still GNU Bash with lots of little tools.

Forgot it was garbage day, something I don’t usually blank completely on. Okay now I know the new meds are messing with my focus.
Uh. I have ADHD. My focus can’t take that many hits.
But hey at least I’m not anxious about it.

Using a full desktop (KDE) instead of just a window manager (Qtile) since it seems the only way I can keep Slack from crashing mid-notification.
I mean I know the proper fix is to uninstall Slack, but then I won’t get paid.
