@sikkdays @genehack Yep, that’s been my flow for a while now, forwarding (only) public posts and threads to Twitter. I was using https://crossposter.masto.donte.com.br but they got rate limited pretty harshly the other day.

@briandorsey I use everybody else’s Advent of Code solutions to learn new things about a language.
Also I still like the Perl / RakuLang advent calendars. I’m sufficiently old school that I prefer Advent of Code in the form of gifts rather than additional tasks.

Alas. The best job I’ve had so far is going away. Not immediately. In fact there’s a thrice-postponed honeymoon vacation coming up that I won’t be postponing again.
But once honeymoon and Christmas are out of the way, I’ll be looking for new senior dev type stuff.

@Perigrin Nothing stopping me, but:
a) daughter-in-law moving out next week and ensuing cleanup of her room
b) it would be awful rude to schedule any interviews during the honeymoon
c) The Holiday Vortex from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Day is traditionally a bad time for scheduling anything
d) Not the worst exit + we have savings mean nobody’s starving
So I may as well experiment with this thing I heard about called “relaxing”

@Perigrin I remain skeptical. But @IamMrsGeek promises that I can interpret “relaxing” in whatever manner I actually find relaxing.
