Been getting deeper into SiYuan lately. It’s neat, and offers synchronization through Amazon S3 or any compatible service. Compatible? Well heck. Didn’t know that there’s something out there S3 enough without being S3.
Using Digital Ocean Spaces for the last month or two. Now I want to try self-hosted. Hopefully I can set up Garage on my Raspberry Pi 4.

In the process of migrating my blog to a new host and initial rsync reminded me how much heavy lifting up front is involved in a static Web site.
454 MB of files! Course, for a site that’s been up since 2001 or so that’s only like 20MB per year.
That’s like — what — a Gatsby blog with three posts?

Migrating to a new Web host. If you can see this that means I succeeded.
Just need to wait for all the upstream processing so I can go from self-signed certificate to regular old SSL / TLS cert.
