@mjgardner @pdcawley Linux on Intel Mac is a less fraught prospect in 2023 than it was in oh say 2015, last time I tried it. Heck, I hear it’s almost working well on Apple Silicon lately!

I’m not gonna find out for myself though.

I probably would have made more progress in Ark if the first item on “clean inessential nonsense off the hard drive” wasn’t “uninstall Ark.”

Anyways, got 250GB more free space on the hard drive.

Need to hook an SSD up to myPi at some point. Syncthing takes a while to get itself situated when 200-something GB of files are on a 7200RPM HDD.
