The #SiYuanNote blog post notes are starting to gel enough that I can believe that maybe I’ll actually end up with a blog post? I can tell because I started collecting thoughts around the what / where / who / why / how questions.

She’s in a very boring meeting.
Seeing my opportunity, I dance seductively behind the camera.

@gewalker surprisingly well then again we’re still a few weeks from the four year mark so practically newlyweds
hackers.town: 2023-03-01 Wed 12:21
@gewalker oh no no let me clarify. I kept my pants on. Remember I’m ostensibly trying to seduce her, not make her ill.
hackers.town: 2023-03-01 Wed 12:23
@gewalker I gotta be me

uh oh #PlanetCrafter “Fish & Drones” update dropped.
We took a bit more time to fix bugs, so we are delivering this update one day after schedule…
“one day after schedule”

@gewalker Oh I’ve been avoidant since way before good cameras were a thing
but honestly @IamMrsGeek has helped break that out of me somewhat
hackers.town: 2023-03-01 Wed 13:14
@gewalker @IamMrsGeek Oh I know, and I try to keep to the healthy mental practices myself, but sometimes old habits come through. I appreciate the reminder!

and every software delivery schedule I’ve seen, for that matter.
“one day after schedule” is six months ahead of schedule

@tk I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit. Technical and story updates have been fun.
They’ve stayed true to the peaceful aspect. Falling from a great height, running out of food / water / oxygen, and getting hit in the face with a meteor are the only dangers. That’s a pro for me, might be a con for others.

Every once in a while I need to take a step back from my tool kit, take a good look, and ask myself the best ways to make it do less.
hackers.town: 2023-03-01 Wed 21:31
@tk well I’m still thinking tech, just a less chaotic workflow. If such a thing is possible.
