@pdcawley I hovered over “not interested” but thought I’d give it a chance. I tapped out about 30 seconds after this screenshot. First off his list summarizes common practices for code clarity about as well as a 2004 Python fan would summarize Perl, then he moved onto a C++ shapes / area contrived schoolbook example.
Performance complaints are about code in the real world. Give me real world code, like an overworked layer cake of abstractions for TCP.

A thing that is interfering with my job search process: tech is fucking depressing. Not the tools and the toys. I still enjoy those. It’s the trends. Plastic enthusiasm from third party recruiters assuming I want to contribute to some doomed NFT AI surveillance tech monstrosity.
