Most of the time I just start typing and hope for the best, but every once in a great while I pull out a typing tutor program.

@chris Friends that committed fully were comfortable in a few weeks. Me, I went in part time, bouncing out to conventional keyboard when fatigue set in.
Harder to put a timeline on mine, but seven years in I’m comfortable touch typing on this for as long as I need. It’s usually gaming that gets me, but I’m looking at remap functionality to set up a gaming layer on the left hand.

@chris The ortholinear in particular I got used to quick. Each keyboard half at a slight angle comfortable for the wrist, and the key travel got way easier than on a conventional keyboard.

Oh interesting! #TIL Emacs Doom is all in on XDG now. Fresh install puts doom at ~/.config/emacs and user-specific settings at ~/.config/doom.

Impressive how Microsoft’s Bing Chat or whatever has finally made “tap the windows key and start typing to get at a file or program” inefficient.
If I do a typo for “vivaldi” in the start menu I can bet you a lot of money that I am not going to be appeased by the latest news about Ivanka Trump.
