I just read somebody’s post declaring how awesome ChatGPT was for explaining code, but the explanation shared was so damn verbose.
Reminded me of some Perl modules — nameless because I like the author — but god damn they wrote docs like they were getting paid by the word.

yes of course i see the positive potential for AI as a creativity boost or enhanced rubber duck for debugging or labor-saving device for SEO domain squatters and plagiarists

BTW the ones that properly intrigue me are the local-only learning implementations. Apple’s getting into some of that, and I’m hearing more about other projects.

Found a settlement in #NoMansSky on an abandoned freezing planet with firestorms.
