@gewalker @WuMargaret In the fine tradition of infodumping: If you like the just-Markdown of Obsidian but not the closed-sourceness or getting lost in plugins, maybe try Zettlr? Any sync or post-processing you do yourself. OTOH it has never broken on me.

@gewalker @WuMargaret (mentioned because I’m thinking a lot about Zettlr’s simplicity while wrestling with Logseq’s tweaky Markdown-ish syntax)

Backlinks can wait until I handle Logseq’s syntax extras, or at least the ones I care about.

Far enough along that I should maybe think about what to put on the site index and whether to use #Logseq for my public brain.

I know there’s an improved “publish” workflow for Logseq in the works. I also know I won’t like it because I am just that fussy.

@gewalker @WuMargaret Plus very well-documented and the snippets are exactly flexible enough for document templates and inline — uh — snippets.

That one’s funny like a Ben Stiller movie. Not really a fan of Ben Stiller movies, though.

Doing regular expressions in JavaScript always makes me wish I chose Perl.
