Think I want to do something calm and soothing. Maybe I’ll fire up Rimworld and watch my colonists die, break down, or break down then die.
I assume I’d need a mod if I want to see them die then break down.

@gizmomathboy I definitely wouldn’t say “kinder.” There’s a raid coming and my best shooter’s in bed with crippling asthma.
The games are similar in focus and theme, but Rimworld’s more explicitly a story generator rather than saga generator. More focus on individual colonists.
For complexity, DF is full grognard where Rimworld’s closer to 3e. Not an exact mapping, but hopefully you get the idea.
