I don’t know how general this is, but locally every provider I’ve contacted has been backed up all to hell. Can’t help but wonder if the last few years of broadly ignored pandemic may have something to do with it.

@mjgardner not really in the mood for semantics. Without obligated healthcare I’d be dead a couple times over, starting with the military doctors who handled complications during my infancy.
I disagree with Rand’s a priori definitions and thus most of the scaffolding she built out from them. Most of her arguments feel like a deeply personal insult aimed at me and the people I care about. I read as many of her words as I care to a few decades ago, and would appreciate not seeing any more.
The second article was better. Got me thinking about bureaucracy vs the details of who deserves what.

@laren NMS tends to trigger my “every which way” ADHD impulses, so I get a little of everything and nothing in particular of note. And all my home bases were 3x3x1 blocks. Being more intentional this time around has been an interesting exercise. Ignore the settlements and freighters for now.
