@mjgardner Kind of amusing to ponder what tags my brain settles on for the blog post. It’s a mix of surface impulse and “what’ll still be useful in 20 years?”
So brand names and current trends lose out to an implementation detail on the blog.

@bitprophet But of course!
I was looking at my notes from the last month and realizing I hadn’t heard that particular angle. Otherwise a strongly worded toot would have sufficed.

@bitprophet and let’s be honest I have a strong bias about the ethics. But I still had a nugget of “what if?”
That nugget has been resolved to my satisfaction.

@bitprophet when playing with language servers one of my guiding questions is “how does this compare to running prospector (or even just Pylint) over my code?” and with generative tools the question is “what would prospector (or even just Pylint) say about this code?”
In both cases they come out lacking.
