In Ubuntu WSL. brew install neovim failing because #Homebrew can’t grab icu4c. SSL cert problem with pkg-containers.githubusercontent.com. If I try to open that in the browser I get a Fastly “unknown domain” error.
I don’t know whether to blame Homebrew, Github, Fastly, or XFinity.
Anyways, guess it’s a good day to reboot into Linux.

@banjofox2 That’s what I get retrying with browser in Linux as well. The Fastly error in-browser on Windows was something unrelated, apparently.

@banjofox2 Worse yet, it’s Homebrew trying to be a sealed system. I have icu libs installed at the system level. But brew wants nothing to do with those.
Honestly Homebrew on Linux usually works pretty good. But when it doesn’t oh boy.

@maddiefuzz @kusuriya usually just when I’m on Ubuntu variants. Helps me have fresh tools without the micromanaging I need with asdf or the entirely new programming language with Nix.
Also helps following along with blog posts that assume macOS and Homebrew.

Nothing to worry about for this one, it was just a screenshot of Linea Sketch for iPad and an elaborate symmetry drawing that’s in progress. Next update will probably be in a day or two, knowing me, so you’ll be caught up in no time.
