Watched a good video essay about “Chocolate” — sort of an autistic martial arts superhero movie. I had no idea about the expectations. I just know I loved the movie when it came out.
Accented Cinema spends a few minutes digging a little deeper into the context and merits.

@bink well I’m not gonna pretend it’s in the best of health or anything, but Perl’s still sufficiently a thing that 5.38 includes an improved object model.
But yeah I get the sentiment and generally I agree with it. I wasn’t done with Perl yet!
