pulled in the tumblelog
All my Tumblelog pages are notes on this blog now. Any time my personal site count goes past 1, the friction ramps up quick. They all end up going a little stale.
So that’s one less site to worry about.

@woshilapin Not yet on Linux. Too many of my workflow tools assume a POSIX shell. Also, the shell itself is still pre 1.0. Breaking changes can and do occur with new releases.
But it’s convenient enough and stable enough overall that I set up a tmux hotkey to launch Nushell in a new window. Core environment variables get picked up from GNU Bash login, so my tools are generally happy.

@sleepyfox @baldur yeah I’m not interested in either. I’ll tweak and script my tools to an unrecognizable degree, but that’s just getting your kitchen how you like it.

Today’s — or maybe this week’s — project is pulling my tumblelog experiment back into the main blog.
Because a) the budget prioritization thing I’ve mentioned before; and b) outta sight outta mind, so I haven’t touched the tumblelog and also haven’t updated the blog as much because “that should go in the tumblelog”

I never have been and especially now probably never will be a #Unity3D customer so this is strictly armchair expertise, but
I’m thinking the only acceptable Unity statement would be something along the lines of “meet our new CEO and executive suite. Firing the last ones would have given them a golden parachute, and the next best options are felonies, so they work for the janitor now.”
