Funkwhale is a really cool music sharing and discovery platform, but I don’t think much attention has gone into the monetization side of things.

I’m a little bugged about ElectronJS apps having a whole browser in there, but what bothers me about most of them is you’re using a whole browser in there and you give me maybe two color schemes and maybe three fonts.

We need more CSS Zen Garden.

On the left is the default daily edited notes list in #TriliumNotes. On the right is what I’ve come up with using just CSS. Especially proud of hiding the commas.

Even though it’s all cosmetic, I guess that much power in the hands of a user is terrifying to businesses trying to keep folks on a narrow monetization-oriented pipeline.

YouTube’s been giving me videos about Kowloon Walled City. So far, I don’t mind.

This one’s a former resident playing Stray (the post-apocalyptic cat platformer), being interviewed about the similarities, differences, and what life was like.

Stray was too spacious to be much like Kowloon. That amused me.
