Most of my friends use the Fediverse the same way they tried to use the other social network platforms: keep up with friends, a special interest topic or two, and maybe some news.
Whatever my beefs with technical and metacultural aspects of Mastodon etc, it works great for them.

Reading the novella that is the latest #ProjectZomboid development overview and holy heck that is awesome stuff. I gotta see if I can ever survive more than an hour in that game.
