First impression of #StrandedAlienDawn is a little bit of Rimworld, in that if you know how to play Rimworld (or Oxygen Not Included or or) you basically know how to play this. Also, a little bit of the Sims because of the 3D, except you’re making the pretty decorations yourself.

@ceejbot Just grabbed it today, but apparently the latest release includes multistory buildings. Kind of a biggie for the genre, and an even bigger Sims-like similarity.

Cody (a not-copilot LLM-based code assistant) is being helpful with this thing I’m writing, which actually has me wondering whether I should refactor the thing if it’s got that much repetition in it.

The code I came up with is clear enough but painfully simplistic and sufficiently far from idiomatic Python that it looks more like Go.
What I’m kinda getting at is if it’s this easy for my coding assistant to discern and apply the patterns of my solution in a related context, is that maybe a code smell?
