A lot of games have crafting and base building, but base building in particular feels kinda — meh? I want more than “I’m dry and I can reach my workbench.”
So far my favorite tree puncher is #Valheim, where you get a Rested buff for spending some time in the nice well-appointed space you built. Are there more games like that?

@akamran Oh it was. An entire family of undiagnosed neurospicy, along with all the social trauma that implies, and it was like one of those theme parks they had to shut down because too many deaths.

@capnhoppy That’s been my experience so far as well, and similar on play ratio.
But I’m holding out hope that there are more adventure games out there that appreciate the merits of base feng shui.
