@tek @erosdiscordia yep yep. “Macho” was a big thing when I was a kid, and I didn’t like any of that. Macho men were jerks. I decided I was as comfortable as I was gonna be growing up as a man, but I would decide what that looked like for me.
Identity’s not a binary or even a spectrum, but some funky hypersphere. I’m just always glad to meet people who’ve examined themselves all the way to ana and kata.

If you don’t mind proprietary cloud-hosted, #Amplenote is a pretty darn good note taking and task management app. Almost as good as Taskwarrior for the tasks.
And now there’s a native app for Windows, Linux, and macOS, with plans for local note storage in 2024. And table formulas, too! This pleases me.

I went to LinkedIn, expanded comments on somebody’s post with seven replies, and I heard my GPU fan spin up like I was playing Satisfactory. Confirmed in browser task manager that LinkedIn was using more resources than any other tab.
