Went through the hard part of an Astro iteration for the site, remembering how collections and slugs and that dynamic route filename syntax work. Next is the tedious part, making sure all 647 posts build correctly. I’ll mix it in with the fun part of playing with layout.

AI chatbot replies in Discord search results. Two things I dislike individually which, when combined, produce something somehow worse than the sum of their awfulness. Truly a gestalt of ick.

Progress! I got me a YouTube shortcode — er, component. In Astro they’re components.

There’s one on npm but it’s way more than I needed. Much as I enjoy overkill, I’d rather write five lines that fills 100% of my needs. If I need more I’ll install the thing.

And Discord, yeah. Only when I’m desperate. Which makes the bot replies polluting results that much more exasperating.
