won’t know how it went for a week or so but it was nice joking with another old-timer about how nice it is that with serverless, server-side rendering, and “islands of interactivity,” we’re basically reinventing Web 1.0.

Need to work on the excess modesty, though. When somebody asks me to rate myself in a technology that I’ve been using every day for the last decade, “beginner-intermediate” is missing some subtleties.

Just knowing specifically how much I don’t know puts me somewhere well past any applicability of “beginner.”
