And they say #ADHD workers are driven by interesting challenges and that’s true but you don’t know how much overlap there is between “interesting” and “irritating” so if you hear me grumbling about the universe that’s bad but if you hear me grumbling about the code that’s good. Especially if I have my machete.

I don’t actually have a machete. It’s a metaphor for uh a very sharp pointy thing, possibly rusty.

No I basically mean the hyperfocus. Because me in the backyard age 14 clearing blackberry bushes with proper berserker glee until I’d made it to the other side of the block was one of my favorite hyperfocus moments.
