Got ADHD meds for the first time in over a year.
Holy heck.
I might be able to finish – well uh – something. Don’t know what, but the fact that I might finish a task fills me with confusion.

@minego Right? I don’t always focus on what I’m supposed to, which combined with the difficulty getting meds seemed sufficient to not bother.
But gosh. To be able to persistently focus on any thing at all sounds like a step up again.

@minego my main tangible benefit, and the real reason I decided to try again, is it cuts down on mental background noise, the ten thousand “what if” and “what about” always clamoring for attention.

@bitprophet Friend of mine got shingles in his mid-30s, described it as several weeks of the greatest misery he’s ever experienced, and has spent the last 15 years harping on the rest of us to get shingles vaccination.
So I get to mark that off my task list at uh 52. But anyways you may want to think on it.
And we’re going to Vegas, which may not technically be out of country but there’s sure gonna be a lot of countries represented including that total slacker of a nation the US. So I got flu shot, COVID booster, and shingles vaccine final round.

Yeah I’m pleased to maybe finish tasks, but I’m genuinely excited about maybe finishing drawings! My sketching pace plummeted after I went off meds.
